About Silver Creek
Silver Creek is nicely situated on the outskirts of town just north of the I-80 and US Route 40 interchange east of Kimball Junction. It is best known for prime horse property real estate with close proximity to Park City and Salt Lake City. Silver Creek is the place to live if you long for wide open spaces, large acreage, and sweeping views of the Wasatch Mountain Range. It’s also Park City’s most horse friendly neighborhood! Except for some small lots at the entrance to the subdivision, most lots range from 2.5 to 10 acres. You can find anything from a small mountain cabin to an equestrian estate here. Home prices range from about 700K to 3 million. New trails on Long Rifle and Maple provide safe ways to ride horses through the neighborhood and the Wasatch Trail connects to the popular Glenwild Trail system for biking, hiking and horseback riding.
Just the Right Distance
This is an ideal neighborhood for you if you prefer feeling far removed from town, but desire a short commute to the things you need and the activities you enjoy doing. It’s only a 5 to 10 minute drive to Kimball Junction, and a 15 minute drive to the heart of Park City. The active Facebook group reveals a real neighborly attitude. Silver Creek is slowly growing its own commercial element. There is a church, a Montessori pre-school, a dance studio, a gas station, and a handful of small service oriented businesses.
